Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using LinguaLith you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

LinguaLith is owned and operated by MB Pundzabas, a company registered in Lithuania, with its business address in Vilnius, Lithuania, trading as "LinguaLith". Your contract for use of the service is with MB Pundzabas. Contact: info@lingualith.com.

2. What LinguaLith is

An online platform to learn Lithuanian through structured lessons (A1–C2), an AI tutor, a speaking simulator and bookings with independent native teachers. Learning outcomes depend on your effort and consistency — we can't guarantee a specific level or exam result.

3. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old (or use the service with a parent/guardian). Keep your password safe — you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think it's been compromised.

4. Plans, payments and refunds

Free features are free. Paid plans (Monthly, Yearly) renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period. Prices are shown in EUR and applicable taxes are added or included at checkout.

LinguaLith is operated and sold by MB Pundzabas, a company registered in Lithuania. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. and Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., which handle checkout, billing, tax calculation and remittance, invoicing, refunds and chargebacks on our behalf. Card payments are governed by Stripe's consumer terms. Product support and account questions are handled by MB Pundzabas at info@lingualith.com.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you're not satisfied, request a full refund within 30 days of your order date by emailing info@lingualith.com.

5. Teacher bookings

Teachers on LinguaLith are independent professionals. When you book a class, you enter a direct agreement with that teacher; LinguaLith facilitates scheduling and payment. Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the class are fully refunded. Later cancellations or no-shows may be charged in full at the teacher's discretion.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use LinguaLith to harass anyone, share illegal content, attempt to break the service, scrape data at scale, resell access, or impersonate another person. We can suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

7. AI-generated content

The AI tutor and speaking simulator produce responses automatically and can make mistakes, especially with grammar edge cases, legal wording or medical terms. Treat AI output as a study aid, not as professional advice. For important documents (immigration forms, contracts, medical records), please consult a qualified human professional.

8. Certificates

Certificates issued by LinguaLith are internal completion certificates that acknowledge the work you've done on our platform. They are not official state certificates and are not a substitute for exams recognised by Lithuanian authorities such as the Ministry of Education or the Migration Department.

9. Intellectual property

Lessons, audio, exercises, artwork and code on LinguaLith belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your personal learning but not copy, republish, or use them to train other AI systems without our written permission. Content you submit (e.g. answers, questions to the tutor) stays yours; you give us a limited licence to use it to operate and improve the service.

10. Service availability

We aim for high availability but can't promise the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, pause or discontinue features to improve the product; we'll give reasonable notice for significant changes to paid features.

11. Liability

To the extent allowed by law, LinguaLith is provided "as is". We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost data, missed opportunities). Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud or anything else that can't be limited under Lithuanian law. Your consumer rights are not affected.

12. Termination

You can close your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive (payment, IP, liability) continue after termination.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Vilnius, unless mandatory consumer rules give you the right to your local court.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We'll post the new version here and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continuing to use LinguaLith after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
